how should i cut and style my bangs?

Im getting my hair cut soon, really soon. I have thick curly, frizzy hair but i have a way to get it straightened. I know exactly how to cut my hair, its just i dont know how to cut and style my bangs. I usually wear them using literally half of my hair. Seriously. but it comes out thin when i straighten them, so it doesnt look weird. Over the summer theyve grown ALOT i almost couldnt tell they were mine So Ive decided i want to try and cut them a little differently, but i dont know how. They were kinda of like this http://i51.tinypic.com/vskt8x.png except on the side its a ton of hair. so when i first got it cut, it was exactly like it, but when i straighten it, its not completely straight. its kinda crimped. crimped straight, if you can understand that. i also have a kinda large forehead so i want by bangs like i had them. if thats possible. thanks
