How to calculate lenght of gasket ?

i have to calculate the width of the gasket to be placed between the cylinder and a mounting block for a CCTV camera housing. the diameter of the cylinder is 88.90 mm and . The width of the mounting block is 40 mm

I know there is a very easy answer to this but can get around it
